Aston Martin Vantage V8 N420 Roadster, a racing-inspired Special Edition brings a new dimension to the dynamics and sporting performance of the V8 Vantage range.

Successor to the V8 Vantage N400 special edition of 2007, the Vantage N420 at the 4.7-liter, 420bhp, 180 hours miles V8 Vantage is a coupe or roadster based with a manual transmission or optional sport shift automatic transmission.

The Aston Martin V8 Vantage is inspired by experience of the company at the Nurburgring 24-hour race. In 2006, the implementation of the annual endurance classic program from a field of mainly Nürburgring race homologated cars, Aston Martin was registered in a near-standard road V8 Vantage. Driven by a team of employees, including Aston Martin CEO Dr. Ulrich Bez, V8 Vantage – by the name “Rose” of the team – fourth place in class, 24 overall in a field of over 200 specialized race cars.

The Aston Martin V8 Vantage N420 is available both as a Coupr or Roadster and under the bonnet the 4.7-litre engine that is linked to a 6-speed manual gearbox, delivers 420 bhp and enables top speeds of 180 mph.

The Aston Martin V8 Vantage N420 is inspired by the automakers experience in the Nurburgring 24h race, and due to use of carbon fiber the car now weights 27 Kg less than the standard version. The exterior achieves its uniqueness due to a set of wider side sills, a carbon splitter, side stakes and diffuser, plus a 10 spoke design alloy wheels with gloss black finish.

It Based on the standard Aston Martin V8 Vantage, featuring a 420-hp 4.7L V8, the N420 adds a Sport Pack suspension and a new sport exhaust system as standard. It also weighs 59 lbs less than the standard car and is available in Aston Martin ‘Race Collection’ paint schemes (optional).

The Aston Martin V8 Vantage N420 will be available with as Coupe or Roadster and with a 6-speed manual or an optional Sportshift automated manual transimission Production starts this month, with deliveries scheduled for August. Prices start at £96,995 ($147,476 USD).
